The World Bank
The World Bank is the world’s largest source of financing for water in developing countries. They compile data on water access around the world, highlighting that approximately 2 billion people lack safely managed drinking water services, and 3.6 billion do not have access to sanitation devices.

Charity: Water
703 million people lack basic access to clean and safe drinking water. Charity Water is a nonprofit designed to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries. They do this by selecting water solution locations based on geography, building relationships with local stakeholders. They have also funded over 137,000 water projects, which in turn addressed the water crisis for over 17 million people world wide.

Water.org
This non-profit's mission is to make sure everyone has access to to sanitation and safe water by removing obstacles and pushing for change. The are able to fulfill this by using micro financing (which provides banking services to low-income people who otherwise wouldn’t have access to to such financial services) to make loans for people to other resources that would make household water and sanitation solutions a real possibility. They serve 13 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and even the Caribbean. Also, they have empowered more than 10 million people with access to sanitation solutions and safe water.
